Brief profile of CA A.Rafeq, FCA, CISA, CGEIT, CIA, CFE



Wincer Infotech Limited has been promoted in the year 1994 by CA A.Rafeq, FCA, CISA, CQA, CFE with a team of visionaries to empower users to be Winners in Computers Education and Research. Rafeq with his passion for using technology foresaw the need of data analytics and BI. The development of Data Analytics software started with a small team of IT professionals in 2001. In the last 5 years, he has been working as managing director of Wincer Infotech Limited which specializes in developing Data Analytics solutions for Auditors and BI tools for management.


Rafeq is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He passed the CISA exam in June 1995 and has been a member of ISACA since 1996. His special expertise is in the areas of IT Assurance using COBIT and Data Analytics using CAAT software. In a career spanning 30 years he has played varied roles such as CFO, CIO, IT implementer, IT consultant, IT Auditor, Software Architect and COBIT Trainer.


Rafeq has lead workshops on IT Audit and COBIT at various International Conferences of ISACA and ISACA chapters across the world. He has passionate about developing tools for practical experience in applying Data Analytics in various assignments of IT Audit, Compliance assessment and Fraud Investigation for clients in India and abroad.


Rafeq was one of the senior-most faculties of DISA Course of ICAI. He has contributed in designing and developing updated DISA 2.0 Course of ICAI. He has conducted more than 300 days of training on IT audit, COBIT and CAAT for both public and private enterprises. He has made presentations at international conferences/workshop in more than 15 countries.

Mr. K. Muralidharan is an Independent IT consultant with 30+ years of IT experience, specializing in IT operations, Strategic ERP solutions, Program Management and Business Process Management in the areas of Manufacturing, Retail, Textile, Garment and Consumer durables industries.


He has a passion for continuous learning and implementation. In his quest for knowledge and skills, he has acquired the following Certifications:

  • Six Sigma Greenbelt Professional
  • Certified Project Management Professional-PMP
  • Certified Information Security Manager – CISM
  • Certified Quality Analyst (CQA)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

At Tally Solutions, Muralidharan was Vice President and has worked on following key areas:

  • Setup the Technology platform and Business enablement of Tally’s KPO unit – Resolve, for their outsourced Payroll and Accounting services.
  • Set up the Professional Services Organization for the proposed Tally ERP,
  • Program Managed large corporate implementations,
  • Member of the team that implemented the Product Development process,

At Madura Coats Limited, he has managed the in house IT development and operations covering:

  • Application development for the five manufacturing locations and 20+sales outlets
  • Establishment of centralized application policies and controls
  • Management of the server network and related securities’ implementation
  • Implementation and Periodic migration of the Corporate messaging network linking 60+ offices across the Globe
  • Effective change control management in the application systems
  • Migration strategies for applications and infrastructure driven by technology advances

AT BPL, as a CIO for the BPL group of companies, he was worked in following areas:

  • Formulated the corporate IT policy with a clear focus on internal and external security
  • Implemented the IT strategy covering all the strategic business divisions’ applications
  • Managed the infrastructure with emphasis on internal and external controls as guided by the COBIT and ITIL frameworks
  • Managed the support desk for the Oracle financials for the users across the group

At IBM Global Services, he was responsible for managing projects in the Oracle ERP competency covering Full cycle implementation, Application Management Support transition, Steady state delivery and Offshore support for global clients.

Sunil has over 30 years of experience in banking and IT. He was working in State Bank of India for 25 years out of which 18 years in IT. He was working in Deloitte Touché Tohmatsu India Private Limited (Deloitte Haskins & Sells), Enterprise Risk Services.


Sunil is a Freelance consultant in IS Security, Audit and IT Governance space. He has been associated with various organizations for providing services in IS Audit, Security Solution and training. The major organizations are NIBM Pune, Indian Institute of Banking and Finance(IIBF), Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He was advisor to Fluxonix Corporation, Security solution provider and MIEL e-Security Mumbai. He is currently part-time professor at the National Institute of Banking Management, Pune.


He was a ISMS Head (CISO) on contract for NSE Infotech services (Subsidiary of National Stock Exchange for IT Services), He was responsible for establishing information security and Governance processes for National stock exchange (NSE) (largest stock exchange in India 2nd in world for F&O trades). He has established the processes to manage the information security that include defining and implementation of security processes, establishing governance practices to ensure that all stakeholders (Senior management and board) are updated regularly about security status.


He has also worked at Wipro Consulting Services (Wipro Technologies) as a Lead Consultant/Senior Manager with Governance, Risk and Compliance Practice, He was responsible for leading projects teams providing security solutions in the areas of IT Policy and Procedures, Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery Planning, Network and Internet security, Legal and Regulatory Compliance, IT Process and Application Security reviews.







Ravi has significant experience as a Business Analyst and Project Manager with experience in Information Technology, Banking/Financial Sector and Service Management. He has international work experience having worked abroad for global clients. He has worked in senior positions in IT application development in banking or financial institutions, to hone my innate skills in the area of business analysis, process improvement and project management and contribute value added services with my 18+ years of experience of which 12 years in banking.

He has managed a team of analysts; responsible for requirement gathering, functional specification. In the area of Project / Service Management, he has over 15 years specific experience in software engineering methodologies and approaches, proficient in creation and management of project charters and plans and scheduling of work breakdown structure (WBS) and tracking schedule and project performance metrics. He has special expertise in efficiently tracking project tasks with timely escalation and prioritization of critical activities. Hands-on, planning, delegating and monitoring issues until closure. He is an acknowledged team manager with proven track record in managing onsite and offshore teams; user expectation and has directed team activities at all levels. He has vast experience in reviewing project deliverables for adherence to compliance, quality and guidelines with clarity and comprehension.
